Prayer and Fasting Day - Monday
Namjin’s operation is scheduled for the 23rd July. Due to the time difference between Korea and the UK, it will take place in the early hours of Tuesday morning. Because of this I would like to encourage you to make Monday a special day of prayer and fasting for Namjin and the family.
For those of us who are able to, please consider fasting and setting aside the time you would normally eat breakfast, lunch and dinner to pray for Namjin.
I appreciate that some of us are unable to fast for medical reasons and I would not want anyone to undertake anything that might be detrimental to their health. If you are not able to fast, I would encourage you to still set some time aside before or after meal times to pray along with the rest of us.
There will be two opportunities to join together with others to pray. For those who are around during the day, there will be a midday prayer meeting at the church. There will also be a second prayer meeting at 8pm in the evening.
If at all possible, please make every effort to come to one of these meetings.
Richard Powell.

We will need lots of volunteers to make cakes (for the day) and to serve refreshments (on the day). Please mark this date in your diary and let Ruth know if you are able to help.
