In 1980, atheist and investigative journalist Lee Strobel applies his journalistic and legal skills to attempt to disprove his wife Leslie's newfound Christian faith, which creates a rift within his marriage. After completing a thorough investigation for almost two years he finds the historical evidence for Jesus, and then finds a new faith in Christ.

Tuesday - 10am-12noon - Epsom and Ewell Foodbank here in the building. Raven run a help desk here too during Foodbank hours. There is no need to make an appointment, just pop in on the day.
Tuesday - 5.15pm-6pm - Exercises with Edith An exercise class for ladies only, here in church. Please see Edith if you would like to join them.
Wednesday - 9.15am - Prayer Meeting. Join us for 30 minutes of prayer here in the church building.
Wednesday - 9.45am-12.15pm - Table Tennis Exercise and friendship. Held here in the Main Hall.
Wednesday - 1-3pm - Art and Craft Club here. Materials are provided if you are unable to bring some along with you.
Thursday - 10am-12noon - Online4All. For all of those who would like to know more about new technology and how to use it. Bring along your phone, tablet or laptop and we will give you a little tuition and guidance on how best to use these devices. We can also help with online forms or writing a CV etc.
Friday - 10am-12noon - Chatterbox A toddler group for parents, carers and their children. All Welcome.
Friday - 2-4pm - Friends here. Mainly for seniors but all welcome.
Friday - 8pm - Men’s Bible Study here in the building. All men welcome
Saturday - 7am - Early morning prayer meeting here in the building. All Welcome.
Saturday - 10am - Merland Rise Cycling Group We meet every Saturday morning at 10am outside of the church building before setting off on a mountain bike ride. All levels of fitness/skill are catered for. All we ask is that everyone wears a crash helmet and has a bike capable of riding off road. Please contact Martin Corless for more information.
Saturday - 10.30am-12noon - Kick Merland Rise Football Academy for School Years 1-7 at Headley Playing Field, Headley Drive. Subs £1 per week. Girls and boys welcome.
We still urgently need volunteers to make refreshments and talk to the parents on Saturday morning at Kick. Kick is one of our main outreach activities to young families so, if you are able to help on a rota basis, please see Caroline.
There is a lot of activity after the service today in the café. Sandy is distributing CSW cards and information for Christmas. Ruth Godchild is selling necklaces left by Audrey Taylor which have been made by Pastor Dorival's wife in Brazil.
We have a church members meeting on Tuesday at 8pm. If you have yet to collect your papers, please do so today and read them before the meeting. If you are unable to attend, please send your apologies to Ruth in writing, before the meeting. Many thanks.

We will gather here at 4pm before going out to sing and distribute Advent calendars. All over by 6pm, when we return to church for soup and rolls. Please come and join us. This is a fun event and much appreciated by many of the homes we visit. All ages welcome but do wrap up in appropriate clothing (as it can get a bit chilly and damp) and remember to bring a torch.
