Fundraising Appeal
‘Raise A Smile’ exists to help a small community in Tanzania called Berega. In conjunction with the local church, we work on sustainable projects such as the building of a Kindergarten, hospital staff housing and various refurbishment projects. This year all the money raised will be going to support a refurbishment project in the Orphanage, where 25 to 30 babies up to 3 years of age are looked after following the death of their mothers during childbirth.
The team going to Berega in Easter 2010 are Joan Anderson, Brenda Balk, Lorna Hedges, Kerry Mann, Edith Skelton, Diane Welch, Jim Davis, Tony Heaven, Richard Leighton, Gary Mann, Rob Pilbeam and Nick Westby.

Sweet and Sour Evening Saturday 27th February
An evening of food and fun starting at 7pm. Dinner is supplied but you never know what you might get for pudding…….
During the evening, your cash (between 50p and £5) will decide by secret ballot, who will receive a treat, some sweet, some sour ….. but never food. (Nominees will be chosen beforehand, so it is safe for you to come). Fun for all the family. Tickets on sale next Sunday priced £5 including food, 5-11’s £3, under 5yrs free, family ticket £20. Latin Nights - 6th March at Epsom Downs School
Experience a little of that Latin passion and learn how to salsa and merengue! The evening starts at 7.30pm and aims to finish at 10.30pm. Tickets priced at £12.50 each which includes South American style dinner, a dessert and a glass of wine. Over 15’s only. Tickets from Fay, Christina or Petra.
Taxi Service - To airports, hospitals appointments, shopping etc. We have fixed prices for certain trips e.g. airport runs.
