In Touch - A Weekly Newsletter

Week Beginning 23 July 2010

SUNDAY MORNING

This morning, Penny Brown is leading our time of corporate worship. Roger Welch is preaching on the theme The New Community’.

We will also be sharing Communion during our time together this morning and welcoming Les and Jackie Spear and Anne Starmer into church membership.

After a time of worship, the children and young people will go out for teaching and other activities suited to their age groups. There are crèche facilities for children under 3 years of age.

Welcome home Andrew and Rosie, who have been spending the last three weeks in Bolivia.  We are all looking forward to hearing about your time spent there.

Sunday Group Summertime Cover
As in previous years we would like to give our hard working Sunday group leaders a break over the school summer holidays.  So here is an opportunity to bless them by volunteering to run a Sunday group in August. Playing games, reading bible stories, craft   activities - the choice is yours! If you need any ideas, please see Gary. Don't delay, sign up today- the children need YOU! (Please don't leave it to someone else - we'd rather have too many volunteers than none at all.)  Sign up sheet in the side hall.

SUNDAY EVENING

Liz Heyburn will be leading worship and Geoff Payne preaching on the theme ‘Being Productive’.

The 4, One, 2, are not meeting now until September.

August Sunday Evenings
