SUNDAY MORNING   

Kris Lane and the Youth Band are leading our time of corporate worship this morning.  Roger Welch, is preaching from 1 Corinthians chapter 14 - with the title‘Biblefresh'

After a time of worship, the children and young people will go out for teaching and other activities suited to their age groups.  There are crèche facilities for children under 3 years of age. Please stay for a little while after the service and chat over a cup of tea or coffee.  Refreshments after the service will be served from the hatch in the side hall.

We are still collecting donations for Haiti.  Please place your donation in an                  envelope and either hand it to Ron or place it into the offering bag.  

SUNDAY EVENING

Worship, Word and Communion. Liz Heyburn is leading our time of worship and Rodney Hewlett, one of our Elders, is bringing a devotional word.

The 4, One, 2, are meeting this evening after the Evening Service for a time of worship.  This is open to all 12-19 year olds.  Please speak to Mike Skelton,  Kris Lane or Kerry Mann for further details.

Just a reminder…  there is no early morning prayer meeting Monday.

Prayer and Fasting Day on Tuesday
Our focus on Tuesday will be on the appointment of our new team member for the 18-40 age group. The closing date for applications is next weekend and then the selection process will begin. We will also be praying for the first Tanzania team as they depart on 1st April. Please join us at either 1pm or at 8pm, here at church.

Men’s Breakfast on Saturday at 8am
Please sign-up on the sheet on the notice board in the Side Hall.  Roger will be leading the discussion at this event.

Good Newspaper Delivering in the Community   
Join us if you can on
Saturday at 10am, for an initial time of prayer here at the church,  before going out into the local community to deliver 250 newspapers.


To all Church Members
The ACMM is being held on Tuesday, 16th March at 8pm in the Back Hall. This meeting will include the election of Elders. The papers for this meeting are now in your pigeon hole - please collect them and read them before the meeting. Apologies in writing to the Church Secretary, Ruth Warren, before the start of the meeting.  Many Thanks.


Disabled Car Parking.
Please note that there are three spaces in the church car park allocated for disabled drivers. One is by the side door, the other two are the first spaces, to the left and right, in the car park. Please leave these spaces for the use of those who are in need of them.


Interested in joining a Home Group?
We are aware that quite a few people are not in Home Groups who might like to be.  In particular, an evening Women’s group has been floated as a possibility. 

If you are interested in a Home Group, man or woman, please have a word with Roger or another leader.

Praise for Tanzania
Lisa Phoenix and the Youth Band present an evening of ‘PRAISE FOR TANZANIA ‘, at 8pm on Friday 26th March, here at Merland Rise Church.  Donations for Tanzania will be taken during the evening.  This event will also be signed for the Deaf community. 

BigChurchDayOut - 30th May
For those of you who didn’t join us at the BigChurchDayOut last year - here is your    opportunity to find out what you missed. Held in the grounds of Winston House, East Sussex on the last weekend in May, it is a day of music from world renowned worship leaders and artists, food and fun for all the family.

A sign up sheet is now on the board in the side hall. Group tickets £18 each (cheap     individual and family tickets are available from the website until 26th February).

Pyramid Rock
Just to confirm in case there was any doubt in your mind!!! Holiday club is happening this year; the dates are August 23rd to 27th, Pyramid Rock, a week in ancient Egypt with stories from the life of Joseph. Registration cards are available today, will go out to our groups tomorrow and to all the local schools mid week; please take some if you know of anyone who might like their children to come along. Children who came last year, will also get a letter delivered to their home in the next few days. Please don’t delay, last year we filled up VERY fast!! If you are planning to help, thank you, but please register your children!!!  If there is someone not here today who might be interested, please talk to them and maybe take a card to give to them in the week.  Thank you.
